May 13-20, 2017 - Kalamazoo Area Bike Week is all about celebrating cycling.  It promotes cycling advocacy, awareness, education and most importantly, fun.

Bicycle Safety Adventure

Kids 6 – 12 years of age are invited to participate in this fun filled event to help kick-off Kalamazoo Area Bike Week.  Kids can have fun participating in the following activities:

Meet and Greet Costumed Characters, Have bicycles inspected for correct fit, safety mechanics, tire inflation and brake function, learn rules of the road, ride the Northwest Portage Bikeway, and Tour of Emergency Vehicles.

FREE Helmet to the first 100 child participants who do not currently own a helmet.

Participants must be accompanied by an adult (18 yrs. or older)

Helmets are required to participate.

NO Flip Flops!
