The 7th Annual Kalamazoo Bike Week was a success. The weather was generally good and attendance at the events was great.  Thank you to all event organizers, volunteers and attendees - we had great fun.

Planning for Bike Week 2019 has begun -- and more than ever, will encompass events spanning the entire county.  If you want to share an idea, help plan or participate in one of the next public planning meetings, please contact Paul Selden at info@bikefriendlykalamazoo.org.

Public planning meetings in 2018 are currently scheduled for September 20, 2018, 4-5 pm at the City of Kalamazoo Parks office (Community Room), 251 Mills St., Kalamazoo MI 49048 and October 25, 2018, 4-5pm at the Portage District Library (Austin Lake Room), 300 Library Lane, Portage MI 49002.

Bell's to Bell's Bike Ride

Join beer and bicycle fans in a 14-mile round trip ride from Bell’s Eccentric Cafe in Kalamazoo to Bell’s Production Facility in Galesburg/Comstock.  Small groups will pick up the Kalamazoo River Valley Trail in Kalamazoo and ride it all of the way to the production facility.  There you will be able to tour the facilities.  After enjoying the tour, groups will ride back to the Eccentric Café for beers and a chance to win raffle prizes.

The ride is $15.00 and all donations go to the Kalamazoo River Valley Trail.  Registration starts at 11:00 am.  The ride begins promptly after a 1:00 pm safety talk.
